Do I need to be running 2.6.10 before trying this? I am getting nowhere under 2.6.8.

I haven't tried 2.6.8, but I was successful using 2.6.11-rc4.

I've been using the latest xine-ui (0.9.23) and xine-lib (1-rc3a) to watch my HD streams with much better stability than I had with xine-hd a few months ago.

My only issues now are:
