Nevermind, I found that manually scheduling a recording to start 5 minutes before the current time and then end 4 hours into the future is the way to do it..

I probably messed with some option somewhere, not knowing what it did and for the life of me can't find it...

Whenever I'm recording from the composite-in, Mythtv breaks up the recording into 30 mi ...

Is this because of the hard drive not being SATA? My processor is 2.53 GHz, and I only have one stream going, so it seems like it should work.

Not likely due to being IDE.. Check if your drive ...
Does the pcHDTV 5500 card hardware encode NTSC?

When you say "Does the card support NTSC", doesn't that mean support for the current analog broadcast standard? If so, who cares? Isn't everything going to HDTV (digital?) and there won't ...

I think that by default, you'd want unused sound channels to be muted so they don't pick up any extra noise... I think it is the responsibility of your mixer to save the settings and audio ports that ...

Actually, I just figured out the audio problem... The problem was me.

I had to set the audio devices to /dev/dsp1 and /dev/dsp2 for each of the input devices in mythtv-setup.

Take the S-VHS cable that comes with your tuner (in the box) . Plug that into your card. Take the 3.5mm audio ...
