mhitchens if you'd like a working remote I have heard good things about the Zalman HD160 htpc case on Linux. Down side it's pricey. If you go full Zalman parts, it's very pricey.

Get the net install cd, and burn it to cdrom.

At bootup select F3, and F3 again. Now select textmode.

Now select F4 and insert the following.

As I said before the only people reporting NTSC are i386 users. NOT any 64bit users.
