I'm in the same boat. No PCI slots left - but got 2 pci-express slots.

I emailed sales@pchdtv.com and asked if anything is coming soon for this.

I hopefully await their answer.

I've already got an hd3k working with nvidia on an athlon 1.8 ghz CPU.

Results are fairly decent on that....

Wondering if I can get it going on a 1.4 GH tualatin...

My card finds nothing. Not sure if it is the card or Comcast.

Results: I can watch live HD for about 2-3 hours without
issues. No issues with sync or skip ...

I've finally got a decent setup now.

By decent I mean the following:

- QAM tuning works (I get about 6 local HD channels in the clear over Annapolis Comcast)
- mplayer is playing without cr ...

I think this would be very helpful.

For example, I live in Annapolis, MD and it took me close to 12 hours, probably to determine my QAM settings for Comcast.

There's a tool for Windows called HDTV2MPEG that automatically removes commercials. Actually it automatically removes anything that isn't 16:9 so it can make mistakes.

Tried avidemux2 but on my debian system it just crashes whenever I try to open an mpeg-2. I'm using pchdtvr to record the shows.

I suppose I could try recording using plain old getatsc way of doin ...
