sorry if this has been covered, I did to several searches.

I want to trim a few minutes off each end of a transport stream that I recorded with pchdtvr. I think I should be able to do this with xts ...

The program gopdit may help some. You'll probably end up with fragments of commercials, but because it doesn't cut on a specific frame.

Thanks for the tip on /usr/include/linux. I had to manually link /usr/src/linux to the vanilla sources. I must have done it after I patched. The dtv define is exactly what failed for me.
