Does anyone know how to get around this issue on FC6?

Code:

cx88[0]/2-mpeg: cx8802_timeout
lgdt330x: lgdt330x_set_parameters: Modulation type(0) UNSUPPORTED

What are you using to access the card? My guess is it is trying to use QAM_AUTO as a modulation type and the HD5500 doesn't support QAM_AUTO, only QAM_64 and QAM_256.

I got around the issue, but I'm not sure exactly how. I had both a PVR-150 as well as the HD-5500, and found that either one or the other would work at a time (for the duration of the machine boot, meaning you have to reboot for the other to work), but never both, so I removed the PVR-150, but was still getting the error whenver mythbackend would start. I deleted the capture card in mythtv-setup and afterwards saw what I thought were bad records in the dtv_multiplex table in the mythconverg schema (records were there even though I had deleted the card) so I deleted the rows there. It also seems that mythfilldatabase is doing some cleanup. Anyway, after doing manual cleanup in the database tables and running mythfilldatabase I was able to scan and detect in mythtv-setup. I still don't know what the issue is with having a PVR-150 in the box at the same time.
