I'm curious what the output of lspci -v is supposed to look like for the pcHDTV 5500, here's what I get:

It seems that this problem is specific to my A8N-SLI motherboard. The card works great in my other computers, but refuses to be recognized under ubuntu, gentoo, dsl, knoppix, kernel 2.6, kernel 2.6, amd64, i686, and any combination of pci=bios,nommconf acpi=off noapic, etc etc.
I did get the analog portion working by swapping out 14f1 (the correct vendor ID) for 10f1 (the one reported by the A8N) in the driver source, but the cx88-dvb module still won't load. |
