Bare Minimum Kernel Config?

I'd like to get this card (pcHDTV HD-3000) setup with the bare minimum kernel configuration necessary. I do not plan on using anything but OTA HD (ATSC) w/ MythTV using DVB (no NTSC, etc.).

What do I need to load at the bare minimum to get this working?

Thanks!

You need the cx88-dvb module to be loaded. You don't need to compile your own kernel for this.

For sound you need alsa. Can't think of anything else, at the moment.

Those commercial products have developers who are paid to implement a particular feature set. In open source, typically features get implemented if the developers feel a need. More often than not that need is a personal need. Thus if a developer feels he needs a feature or something isn't working right for him and it is bugging him enough then he will work on it.
