Any plans for a new PCHDTV card with the LG sixth generation tuner?

No response after 1 year, I guess the answer is no?

What other cards are worth considering? I suppose a Pci-Express would be nice.

I'm looking into upgrading my mythtv backend fairly soon and since my new motherboard certainly won't have any PCI slots, my current 5500 won't be of any use and I was hoping for something from pchdtv to replace it.

Please, pcHDTV, if you're listening, please consider offering a PCIe card with the latest ATSC chipset, dual tuner capability and a low form factor (I won't need it but I know people that will.) (ex: HVR-2250)

I would certainly encourage this effort! Smile

Thanks!

I fully support all previous post authors. It is sad to see the absence of interest to this subject from the PCHDTV team.
The HD-5500 is a good card that it has been for a while on the market and has become a quite obsolete. It would be good if the PCHDTV team would announce their near future plans or even better to start a discussion about features of the new generation card.
On my opinion, it would also be interesting to see a universal PCIe DVB-S card that allows demodulating/demuxing a wide variety of the satellite signals. Currently such a card does not present on the USA market.
