Forgive my ignorance on the topic.
I want to stream a live video, with audio, via VLC, from the composite input, from a Fedora 13 box with a pcHDTV-5500... to a foreign box over IP.
I've successfully streamed a live ATSC, over-the-air channel as such:
- Created a channels.conf file (learned from an unrealated forum).
- Tuned the channel on VLC from the channels.conf file, then saved a VLC Playlist file of the test channel.
- File > Streaming: Opened the playlist file from the last step... chose encoder profile and bandwidth, etc... hit 'Stream'
- Tuned in from another box... worked perfectly!
BUT... I have no clue how to tune the streaming box to the COMPOSITE (or S-Video, for that matter) inputs.
Any ideas??
PS: If you think I'll have audio sync issues... do you know the fix?
Thanks!! |
