I can't tell you how many times I've had to wipe out every xine file in /usr/local/lib to get a new version of xine to compile and run. In theory you shouldn't have to do this but it never works out that way.

Following Guest's suggestion, I recompiled the pcHDTV drivers in 2.6.10. xine now usually works. (There are some other occasional problems.)

Deleting an argument from the pci_save_state and pci_restore_state functions seemed questionable. However, I see that these functions are defined differently in 2.6.9 and 2.6.10. These functions each have two parameters in 2.6.9 and one in 2.6.10. (They are in linux/pci.h.)
