Has anyone tried the combination of using the XvMc hardware MPEG decoder implementation on the VIA EPIA-M motherboard with pcHDTV?

Is the hardware MPEG decoder on the VIA EPIA-M motherboard powerful enough to keep up with the frame rate of pcHDTV?

If it can keep up, how much CPU cycles does it have to spare or is it just barely keeping up?
I want to try this some day

I have an Epia and I am starting to play with Gentoo, which
is the preferred distro of the mpeg accelerator hacker.

I have no idea if HDTV playback will work. I am still trying
to find modelines to use for 720p and 1080i.
