Everyone,
I have MythTV working very well with the HD-3000. I can record stuff and watch stuff, audio seems very good, video looks excellent! The biggest issue I have now is that occasionally when I change channels (to one I know works) it will give me a grey screen that looks like it has some blotchy jpg compression junk on it. It's like it's trying to decode the picture but it doesn't know what it's doing. On the logs I see this:

Anyway, it seems like there's something getting out of sync or something. The weird thing is that I know the channel is good because I can kill the backend and restart it and go right back to the "broken" channel. Once this happens I have to kill the backend because any time I try to watch live TV it gives me the weird grey crap screen. Has anyone seen this or know how to fix it?
Thanks,
-Greg |

Yes, I have this same problem. It happens when I attempt to channel surf. After about 5 or 6 channel changes, I get garbled video and no audio.. haven't found a solution other than killing mythbackend and restarting. |
