Dual boot NULL driver?

I want to put the card in a dual boot machine running Linux and Windows. I know there are no windows drivers, but I'm afraid Windows will recognize new hardware every time it starts and ask to install a driver. Is there a way to stop this, or would I need some form of NULL driver to prevent this from happening? Could this be harmful to the card?
