I had the HD-3000 card and the PVR 500 card working with kernel kernel-2.6.14-1.1653_FC4. I was using ivtv 0.4.0. All functionality was working meaning I could view analog and HDTV channels using the HD-3000 card and analog channels with the PVR 500 card. Since the kernel upgrade I have only been able to view analog channels with the HD-3000 card. Under kernel kernel-2.6.14-1.1656_FC4 the card would appear to be identified and the firmware would load but when you viewed anything there would be a constant stream of squawks in the dmesg log about the tuner.

For kernel 2.6.15-1.1830_FC4smp I have not built and installed ivtv as the rumor has been it would be incorporated into the 2.6.15 kernel. The card appear to be identified correectly:
Linux video capture interface: v1.00
cx2388x dvb driver version 0.0.5 loaded
CORE cx88[0]: subsystem: 7063:3000, board: pcHDTV HD3000 HDTV [card=22,autodetected]
TV tuner 52 at 0x1fe, Radio tuner -1 at 0x1fe
GSI 20 sharing vector 0xC9 and IRQ 20
ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:04:0a.2[A] -> GSI 16 (level, low) -> IRQ 201
cx88[0]/2: found at 0000:04:0a.2, rev: 5, irq: 201, latency: 64, mmio: 0xf9000000
cx88[0]/2: cx2388x based dvb card
DVB: registering new adapter (cx88[0]).
DVB: registering frontend 0 (Oren OR51132 VSB/QAM Frontend)...
cx2388x v4l2 driver version 0.0.5 loaded
ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:04:0a.0[A] -> GSI 16 (level, low) -> IRQ 201
cx88[0]/0: found at 0000:04:0a.0, rev: 5, irq: 201, latency: 64, mmio: 0xf8000000
tuner 1-0061: chip found @ 0xc2 (cx88[0])
tuner 1-0061: type set to 52 (Thomson DDT 7610 (ATSC/NTSC))
tda9887 1-0043: chip found @ 0x86 (cx88[0])
cx88[0]/0: registered device video0 [v4l2]
cx88[0]/0: registered device vbi0
cx88[0]/0: registered device radio0

Firmware seems to load:
or51132: Version: 10001334-17430000 (133-4-174-3)
or51132: Firmware upload complete.

But I'm not able to view any HDTV channels, after azap channel lock I see this sequence when I try and view a channel with mplayer:
cx88[0]/2: cx8802_restart_queue
cx88[0]/2: cx8802_restart_queue: queue is empty
cx88[0]/2: queue is empty - first active
cx88[0]/2: cx8802_start_dma w: 0, h: 0, f: 2
cx88[0]/2: setting the interrupt mask
cx88[0]/2: [ffff81002eadf400/0] cx8802_buf_queue - first active
cx88[0]/2: cx8802_restart_queue
cx88[0]/2: cx8802_restart_queue: queue is empty
cx88[0]/2: queue is empty - first active
cx88[0]/2: cx8802_start_dma w: 0, h: 0, f: 2

I also noticed that no dev entries were created for the PVR 500 card. Modprobe has the following information:

Ivtv did not make it into the 2.6.15 kernel so I have down loaded verion 0.4.2 and firmware. Now all device entries are created but I'm still not able to view QAM HDTV channels. I do see a squawk about tuner type not set in reference to the PVR 500 card. I think the issue now is module load order.
