Should I be able to tune OTA NTSC and HDTV with only the HD-3000 in mythtv?
I've checked the knoppmythwiki, the knoppmyth faq, and mysettopbox.tv, and I may be just missing my answer.
There was a reference to the 3000 appearing as two tuners. Should I follow that? I like the idea of using Knoppmyth to keep my learning curve short. |

| I just read on the myth mailing list that there is an option to setup the HD3000 with both DVB & V4L drivers, but you have to be compiling myth to install it & only with the SVN release. I've not tried it yet, but it's on my long list of things to do. I have 2 locals here in OKC that don't broadcast HD/SD programming & it would be a much better solution than buying a cheap NTSC only card. |
