Hi everyone,
I am trying to compile the dvb-atsc-tools without success on my machine.

I have downloaded and extracted the files. When I run "make" I get the following output:

gcc -Wall -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -O2 chopatscfile.c -o chopatscfile
gcc -Wall -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -O2 dtvsignal.c -o dtvsignal
dtvsignal.c:233: warning: 'check_frontend' defined but not used
gcc -Wall -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -O2 dtvscan.c -o dtvscan
gcc -Wall -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -O2 getatsc.c -o getatsc
gcc -Wall -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -O2 atscpackets.c -o atscpackets
atscpackets.c: In function 'ts_loop':
atscpackets.c:181: warning: format '%ld' expects type 'long int', but argument 5 has type 'int'

So make is failing. Any suggestions on what is causing this and a fix. I am running Ubuntu 5.10.

Thanks in advance.

Usually warnings don't cause the compile to fail. Were there any lines with errors?

If the warning really is a problem, you could try changing the second %ld on line 181 to %d.
