Error When Trying to Capture with 5500

I've successfully gotten the card and driver installed, I can watch tv using tvtime, but when I try to test hd capture, I get errors. I successfully scanned for channels using scan from the tools directory, save the channels in a file, run azap in one window and try to read the video device in another window.

This using gentoo with 2.6.17-gentoo-r4 and the drivers from the pchdtv distribution.
The machine has several other cards, including a PVR150, a RT61 network card, a NVIDIA video card and a firewire card. Any thoughts on how I might get this working?

You must use the -r option to azap if you want it to send output to the dvr device.

/dev/v4l is for analog. The output of digital channels when using azap would be /dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr0

Woo-Hoo! That works, thanks.

Ok, so I'm trying to get myth working. A little experimentation shows that adding the card
as a "pcHDTV DTV card" in mythtv-setup does not work. However, adding it as a DVB card does work - it sees the LG tuner, and can scan my cable for ATSC channels. Great!

But now, after scanning the channels, and running mythfilldatabase, I cannot watch TV. Selecting "Watch TV" from mythfrontend simply returns immediately. I've tried setting the default broadcast type to ATSC in mythtv-setup etc etc.

The ultimate goal is to watch the cable NTSC stations using the PVR150 card and the cable ATSC stations using the pcHDTV card. Myth supports setting the broadcast type (ATSC/NTSC) in the setup, shouldn't this be possible?
