Hi,

Anybody using a HD-5500 with FC4, and Gnome? Any issues? How stable?

I'm planning to watch and record OTA HD broadcast with the card.

I have a 2.8G P4 with 512M. My LCD's response is 16ms. I'm getting quite
good HD reception with my antenna.

Thanks,

-kin

I've run in that setup without any issues. I had a problem that I started to see before switching to FC5 in that it looks like the FedoraCore group is putting out kernels with incorrect version numbers. You may need to change some kernel version checks in the drivers if you see compile errors like "struct contains no member named ..." Just go to the line where the error occurs and change the last number in the KERNEL_VER check to one less than it is.

HTH,

Rusty
