Does anyone have a working channels.conf or any signals for Time Warner Cable in Manhattan? I've tried every scanning tool and I can't get anything, I'm on 80+ hours and this card is making me crazy. Any working for signals for Time Warner in NYC around the 10010 area would be much appreciated.

Thanks

You're going to love this: Time Warner doesn't use QAM for the broadcast channels. They use 8-VSB. But the frequency allocation they use is still going to be cable. So you'll probably have to modify one of the scanning tools to use 8VSB on the cable frequencies.

I'm tuning Time Warner digital stations on QAM 256 here in Houston, TX. Perhaps this craziness is location specific?

If you follow that link (which is a bit old), it claims that TWC uses QAM on the Gulf Goast but 8VSB on the East Coast. It remains unconfirmed because I haven't seen anyone who has gotten ANY clear digital signal from Time Warner on the East Coast.
