I would like to add that i was the original poster of the thread referenced by the link below.

I have since tried the card in another machine and it was much worse none of the channels worked.
The card seems to be extremely sensitive to noise on the pci bus.

I have discovered why three of the channels worked on the one machine and
the others didn't.
They are using qam64 were the others are using qam256. So it appears qam64 isn't affected as badly as qam256 is.
