The telecommunications bill presented by Senator Ted Stevens (R - Alaska) includes the dreaded Broadcast Flag and a new Radio Broadcast Flag. Senator John Sununu of New Hampshire will be proposing an ammendment to remove both the TV and radio broadcast flags! If you're from New Hampshire, please express your gratitude to Senator Sununu. If not, please encourage your senators to support the Sununu Amendment.

Here are some arguments against the Video Broadcast Flag and the Radio Broadcast Flag:

* No Government Mandated DRM
* Consumers Will Bear the Burden
* Limits Fair Use Rights
* No Evidence the Flags are Needed
* DRM legally trumps fair use due to the DMCA

Please sign the EFF petition against the Broadcast Flags:
