pcHDTV 5500 problem with I2C

Hi all,

I am having problems accessing the card, I am using kernel 2.6.16.11 and the drivers that can be downloaded from the website. I do make, make install and load the driver cx88_dvb and everything works fine.

The problems come when I am trying to run dtvscan or dtvsignal, and nothing happens, and in dmesg I see the following:

cx88-dvb: lgdt330x_pll_set error (addr 06 <- 50, err = -121)
cx88-dvb: lgdt330x_pll_set error (addr 06 <- 50, err = -121)

repeats several times, sometimes addr = 22 <- 90, or other values, maybe because of the parameters it is trying to pass to the card.

Any suggestions on what can be done to fix it? I am also sure that I2C is enabled in my kernel, are there ways to verify this?

Thanks in advance
