S-VHS input

There is a non-standard mini 9 pin DIN connector on the pchd-5500 card labled "S-VHS" which I assume is an S-Video input, although it is different from the plug on the end of a standard S-Video cable. I am attempting to get a signal from the S-Video output of my cable box to into mythTv. I have verified that I am getting video out of the cable box by connecting to a TV set...video is fine. I modified the end of my S-Video cable by twisting off the plastic pin that orients the plug. It now will insert in the jack on the pchd-5500.

Do the connections match the standard S-Video plug's four pins? I can't find any help in the card specs.

Do I have to change any frontend/backend settings to access the jack?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just read in another thread that there is a breakout cable that plugs into S-VHS...wonder where I put that???

Actually doing research before posting would have been a good thing!

I just found reference to the connector as "VIVO", video in/video out. Here is a link to the pin outs:
