hd5500 audio via pci bus?

Is it possible to get audio for analog tv with the hd5500
through the PCI bus instead of the extra cabling in back
of the computer? I've heard there is something called
DMA audio for this card (direct-memory access?).

Or is there an mpeg encoder on the card to mux audio and
video together?

Any help?

p.s. for the HD3000 I had a 4-pin header installed onto the card
and used an internal audio cable to my sound card.
