Compiling PCHDTV Error

I am installling a PCHDTV card, after getting a PVR350 card up and running. Anticipating finishing a MYTH install.

Incidentially, the DOCS for installing the drivers mention "tar -xvzf V4L2-HD-RH90-1_0.tar.gz" and "cd V4L2-hd" , yet the actual files and dirs created are "V4L". Is this a typo? Or am I in the wrong place??

Also, I am using the RH9 drivers. But I am actually using FEDORA as my OS. Do I need different drivers?

Finally, here is the error when I do a "make":

[root@myth V4L-hd]# make
cc -D__KERNEL__ -DMODULE -DEXPORT_SYMTAB -DMODVERSIONS -include /usr/src/linux-2.4/include/linux/modversions.h -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -fno-strict-aliasing -fno-common -Wno-unused -pipe -mpreferred-stack-boundary=2 -march=i686 -falign-functions=4 -Wstrict-prototypes -Wall -I/usr/src/linux-2.4/include -c -o tuner.o tuner.c
cc -D__KERNEL__ -DMODULE -DEXPORT_SYMTAB -DMODVERSIONS -include /usr/src/linux-2.4/include/linux/modversions.h -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -fno-strict-aliasing -fno-common -Wno-unused -pipe -mpreferred-stack-boundary=2 -march=i686 -falign-functions=4 -Wstrict-prototypes -Wall -I/usr/src/linux-2.4/include -c -o bttv-driver.o bttv-driver.c
bttv-driver.c: In function `do_bttv_mmap':
bttv-driver.c:2065: warning: passing arg 1 of `remap_page_range_R69d01e73' makes integer from pointer without a cast
bttv-driver.c:2065: error: incompatible type for argument 4 of `remap_page_range_R69d01e73'
bttv-driver.c:2065: error: too many arguments to function `remap_page_range_R69d01e73'
make: *** [bttv-driver.o] Error 1
[root@myth V4L-hd]#
===========================================

I am thinking I need to uninstall the current 'bttv' that is installed and use this install. True??

Yeah, I noticed this with Fedora Core 1 as well. At first I thought it was my SMP kernel or some bad naming there in, but it wasn't. That method is not being called correctly for the Fedora kernel.

in the stock bttv-driver.c we have

if (remap_page_range(start, page, PAGE_SIZE, PAGE_SHARED))

in the pchdtv driver we have

if (remap_page_range(vma, start, page, PAGE_SIZE, PAGE_SHARED))

There is an extra struct being used for nothing but improperly calling this method ( for this kernel version anyway ) so I just changed it back, and all is well. .. well the driver seems ok. I still haven't been able to do anything else, like

I'm actually heading back to Red Hat 9 just to see if I'm picking up enough strength for channels, and the hardware is all sound. After I do that I plan to take Fedora Core 1 up to kernel 2.6 and stablize that. Hopefully heading toward a mythTV install... adding my other tuner, and going to production on the projector.... It could be a while...
