I am running Myth 0.18.1 on Suse 9.3 with all of Suse's patches and updates. I built Myth from source. I built the HD-3000 drivers and installed them over the Suse drivers. I am using the cx88-dvb driver.
Sometimes, Myth runs fine. Sometimes it fails to lock when tuning a channel. I get several messages of the form:
DVB#0 DVB signal f477 | snr ffff | ber 0 | unc 0
Then the backend reports:
DVB#0 WARNING - Status: NO LOCK!
DVB#0 ERROR - Tuning for channel #22_3 failed.
I have two cards, one in each of two different systems. This problem occurs much more frequently with one system than with the other.
I can't figure out why the problem occurs sometimes but not other times. I have not been able to detect any pattern yet. |
